Take Action

You can make a difference in politics, and the best place to start is where you live. "Act locally" isn't just a catchphrase, it's a real approach to getting involved. Here in the action center you'll find ways to get into the act and make your voice heard, whether it's knowing where to vote, contacting your elected officials, or to be part of our team on Election Day.

Seventy's Election protection program

Seventy's nationally-known Election Protection Program dispatches trained problem solvers across the city on Election Day to monitor polling places and protect the right to vote. Office volunteers answer calls on the 1-866-OUR-VOTE Election Protection Hotline. Learn more about volunteering your time with us at the May 20, 2014 Primary Election.

Find Your Elected Officials with seventy's online citizen's guide

Remember, your elected leaders really do pay attention when you call or write. The first step in making your voice heard, though, is finding out who represents you in City Hall, the State Capitol, and Washington, D.C.

Make a Donation to Seventy

We couldn't do what we do without the generous support of our contributors. You don't have to give a lot to make a big difference - any little bit will help us fight for honest and effective government and clean and fair elections.

You can't have a say in who represents you if you don't vote. And the first step in that process is registering.
